Food Club Awards Second Plaque of 2010 to Chef Michael Voltaggio
Los Angeles, CA - February 22nd, 2010 - FOOD CLUB has awarded its second plaque of 2010 to Chef Michael Voltaggio of The Dining Room at the Langham.
Food Club Captains Aziz Ansari, Eric Wareheim, and Jason Woliner dined at the Pasadena restaurant in early February and had a remarkable meal which was instantly deemed plaque-worthy.
Notable courses eaten by the Captains and their guests included the langoustine with lobster mushroom lasagna and the skate wing with scrambled cauliflower and caper powder.
This was the second Food Club meal of 2010 and the second plaque awarded by the group this year.
A date for the plaque presentation is TBD.
Food Club is one of the most prestigious and respected dining associations in the world. Founded in late 2009 by Captains Aziz Ansari, Eric Wareheim, and Jason Woliner, the club has dined at some of the finest establishments in Los Angeles and the world and presented their esteemed Food Club plaques to several world class chefs, most recently Chef David Myers of Sona.
